Who We Are

InvisibleMsg.com is a free, browser-based toolkit for invisible Unicode characters, blank text generation, fancy text styling, character inspection, and hidden character detection — built and maintained by Subhan Akhtar under the brand InvisibleMsg. We are an independent tool website, not affiliated with Google, Meta, Discord, or any other platform. Our tools are used by developers, content creators, gamers, and everyday users worldwide. Contact: [email protected]

Our Core Privacy Promise

Every tool on InvisibleMsg.com — the invisible character copier, detector, inspector, cleaner, blank text generator, and fancy text generator — runs entirely inside your browser. Text you paste or type into any of our tools is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

✓ Your text is private. We cannot see it, log it, or access it — because it never reaches us.

What We May Collect

We collect the absolute minimum necessary to operate a reliable, secure website:

  • Standard Server Logs

When you visit any page, our web server automatically records basic technical data: date and time of the request, your IP address, browser type and version, the page you requested, and the referring URL (if any). This is standard practice for all websites and is used solely for security monitoring and diagnosing technical issues. These logs are not linked to your personal identity.

  • Browser Local Storage (Preferences Only)

Some tools may save your preferences (such as a selected character type or display setting) in your browser's localStorage. This data stays entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

  • Email Communications

If you contact us at [email protected], we receive your email address and the content of your message. This is used only to respond to your inquiry and is not used for marketing or shared with third parties.

What We Do NOT Collect

To be completely transparent about what we do not do:

  • Text you paste into the detector, inspector, cleaner, generator, or any other tool — it is processed in your browser only and never leaves your device.
  • Your name, address, phone number, or any personally identifying information (unless you voluntarily email us).
  • Payment information — all tools are free and no transactions ever occur.
  • Personal data from children under 13, knowingly.
  • Behavioral profiles, advertising identifiers, or cross-site tracking data.
  • The invisible characters you generate or copy — we have no access to your clipboard.

Cookies, Local Storage & Advertising

InvisibleMsg.com primarily uses browser localStorage (not cookies) for storing optional user preferences such as tool settings. localStorage data is stored on your device and is not accessible to us.

Essential / Functional

localStorage entries for your tool preferences (e.g., last character type selected). These stay on your device. We do not use session tracking cookies for this purpose.

Analytics (if enabled)

We may use privacy-preserving, anonymized analytics to understand general page usage (page views, referrer). If we enable this, we will name the vendor and update this section before deployment. No cross-site tracking is used.

Third-Party Advertising Cookies

If third-party advertising is enabled on the site (e.g., via ad networks), those providers may set their own cookies and collect your IP address. These are subject to their own privacy policies. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through your browser settings or via your regional opt-out mechanism (e.g., YourAdChoices, NAI opt-out).

You can control cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies will not affect the core functionality of our tools, as they are browser-based and do not rely on cookies to operate.

Why We Process Data

  • Website security: To detect abuse, DDoS attacks, and unauthorized access via server logs.
  • Reliability & debugging: To identify and fix technical errors reported by server logs.
  • Support responses: To reply to emails you send us.
  • Analytics (if enabled): To understand general usage patterns with anonymized, aggregated data — no personal profiling.

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing personal data under GDPR / UK GDPR are:

  • Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): Operating and securing the site via server logs; debugging and reliability.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Where we use optional analytics or advertising cookies — you can withdraw consent at any time via browser settings.
  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): Responding to your support emails when you initiate contact.
  • Legal Obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): Complying with applicable law where required.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to any third party, ever. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or behavioral profiling platforms. Server log data may be processed by our hosting provider as part of standard infrastructure operation — this is governed by their own data processing terms and privacy practices. Any third-party service providers we use (e.g., hosting, CDN) act as data processors under appropriate agreements and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for its stated purpose:

Data TypeRetention PeriodReason
Server logs30–90 daysSecurity monitoring, then deleted
Support emailsUntil resolved + reasonable audit periodCustomer service
Tool text inputNever collectedProcessed in browser only
localStorage prefsUntil you clear browser dataStored on your device only

Security

All connections to InvisibleMsg.com are secured via HTTPS/TLS encryption. We use minimal third-party dependencies to reduce attack surface. Our tools are browser-based and do not transmit your text to servers — which means the risk of a server-side data breach affecting your tool input is eliminated by design. We apply least-privilege access controls to our infrastructure and perform regular dependency updates. To report a security vulnerability, please email [email protected]. Responsible disclosure is appreciated.

International Data Transfers

If you access InvisibleMsg.com from the European Union, United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection laws, please be aware that server log data may be processed in countries outside your jurisdiction, including the United States, where our hosting infrastructure operates. In such cases, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms recognized under applicable law. The minimal nature of data we collect — and the fact that tool input data is never transmitted at all — significantly limits the exposure of any international transfer.

Your Rights — EU / UK (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU or UK, you have the following rights under GDPR / UK GDPR:

  • Right of access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data.
  • Right to restriction of processing — request that we limit how we process your data.
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
  • Right to lodge a complaint — with your local supervisory authority (e.g., ICO in the UK, your national DPA in the EU).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

California Residents — CCPA / CPRA Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

  • Right to Know — request disclosure of categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to Delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale / Sharing — we do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising, so this right is not applicable to our current practices.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA rights.

To submit a CCPA request, email [email protected] with a clear description of your request and sufficient information to verify your identity. We will respond within 45 days as required by law.

Children's Privacy

InvisibleMsg.com is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain EU jurisdictions where a higher age applies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete it from our records.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites. There is currently no consistent industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. InvisibleMsg.com does not use cross-site tracking by design — our tools are browser-based and do not transmit your usage to third-party tracking systems. We will update this section if our practices change.

Third-Party Platform References

Our documentation and tools reference platforms such as Discord, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and games including PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, BGMI, Fortnite, Roblox, Minecraft, Steam, and Call of Duty Mobile — for educational and compatibility purposes only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any of these platforms or their parent companies. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. Each platform operates under its own privacy policy that governs your use of their services.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our tools evolve or as legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. For material changes, we will post a notice on the site. Continued use of InvisibleMsg.com after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
